Regulators do not have an unlimited life. Failure may result in a fire or explosion if the LPG accumulates and an ignition source is present. All regulators should have their date of manufacture stamped on or marked on them and should be replaced in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. If the instructions have been lost or do not give such information the regulator should be replaced not more than 10 years after manufacture. If in doubt please contact your LPG supplier.
