But one Lincolnshire care home has rated its energy supplier – from which it receives an annual usage of 24,000 litres from two 2,200 litre above ground tanks– at the very top of its tree!
The home rated its supplier on a number of measures, including customer service, value for money, clarity and accuracy of bills, how it deals with complaints and how the supplier helps them save energy.
The home’s owner, who is from the historical county of Lincolnshire in the east of the country, said: ‘When I call my supplier, I get straight through; there are no call centres, no getting passed from pillar to post! I always get to speak to the relevant person and my problems are always solved.’
