FIRST EVER LPG INDUSTRY CENSUS TO CAPTURE SNAPSHOT OF THE SECTOR

Friday 24th April 2020

Liquid Gas UK have today (24th April) launched their first LPG Industry census, which will gather information from across the LPG sector, including gas suppliers, equipment suppliers, service providers and installers.

The census is the first opportunity for the LPG industry to feed in the latest facts and figures relating to the sector, which will provide us with an in-depth understanding of where the sector is, at the start of this important decade for the industry.

By supporting us with the census, you are helping us get an accurate snapshot which will enable us to launch a new headline report this summer, highlighting topics such as;

  • How much investment is going to the LPG Industry?
  • What is the LPG Industry worth?
  • How many people are employed across the sector, and in what roles?
  • How many new jobs have been created?
  • Which sectors are growing?
  • How is the LPG Industry using new technologies?

The final report will be made available first to those who complete the survey, before a high profile public launch this summer. Similar to the 2040 Vision, it will be a great resource for businesses marketing and business development, as well as for sharing with investors or shareholders.

In addition, as a thank you once participants have completed the survey, they will be entered into our prize draw to win 2 tickets to the Argus Awards for Excellence in London this November.

Sophia Haywood, Director of Public Affairs at Liquid Gas UK commented:

“Launching the LPG Industry Census is a critical initiative for Liquid Gas UK and all our members. Not only, will the final report be a great resource for members, but it will also enable us to use the most up to date information on the sector, allowing us to make sure industry’s voices are heard with hard factual evidence and represent industry even better going forward.”

“I know we can rely on the LPG Industry to make this census a success by completing the survey. The census is critical to strengthening our knowledge, help grow the use of LPG today and helping secure our role in the future energy mix.”

The survey will remain open until Friday 15th May 2020.

All information supplied will be anonymised, confidential, not stored individually and only used on an aggregated basis.
