Young Person in LPG Awards Launched (Entries now closed)

The industry recognise the importance of skills and development in driving the industry forward and reaching new heights of success as we head towards net zero and a cleaner, brighter future.

Young Person in LPG is a new initiative that recognises the talented young people aged 30 and under who are working in the industry. It shines a spotlight on their successes and raises awareness of the opportunities for excellent careers in the sector.

The awards, taking place on the 11th November at the Liquid Gas UK Annual Conference in York, will open for nominations on the 4th August 2021 and close on 10th September 2021.

There are two categories:

• Rising Star of the Year
• Apprentice of the Year

Nominations can be either a person or a company nominating a candidate, or an individual nominating themselves.

“Our industry census demonstrated the importance of skills within the LPG industry; we want to highlight the great work that is being done by talented young people and support them on their journey, across all different types of roles.

“We want to celebrate and nurture this new and emerging talent, while also promoting the huge opportunities which are available to people thinking about a career in LPG.
