Opportunity to tender: PR & Public Affairs support

Liquid Gas UK, the trade association for the LPG and bioLPG industry, are encouraging interested parties to respond to their tender for two contracts, one for public affairs support, another for PR support.

The key responsibilities for each are laid out below:

Public Affairs Contract

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute impactful public affairs campaigns in collaboration with the Director of Public Affairs, to achieve Liquid Gas UK’s goals
• Through your organisations connections, facilitate engagement for Liquid Gas UK with parliamentarians and policy makers in Westminster, Holyrood and Cardiff Bay
• Responsible for requesting and organising parliamentary meetings, distributing letters and other parliamentary activity administration
• Support with preparing consultation responses and briefing notes

PR Contract

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing stimulating swift responses to statements and announcements
• Proactively raise the profile of Liquid Gas UK and our asks through thoughtful and dynamic PR campaigns and
• Deliver regular content across consumer facing outlets, nationally and regionally, as well as trade or political outlets
• Handle all media enquiries, including crisis scenarios
• Manage paid or regular content with media partners

Deadline for responses is 6th September 2021 at 12pm, interviews will be carried out on the 15th September for Public Affairs support and the 21st September for PR support.
