Young Person in LPG Awards 2023 to Launch at Installer Show on 28th June

Now in its third successive year, Young Person in LPG recognises the talented young people aged 35 and under who are working in and shaping the future of our industry. We celebrate their successes and raise awareness of the opportunities for career development and leadership in the LPG and renewable liquid gases sector.

Nominations open on the 28th June and close on 26th August 2023. All nominations will be judged by an expert Awards Panel with winners announced at the Liquid Gas UK Annual Conference on the 2nd November 2022 in Liverpool. Nominations can be from a colleague or a company nominating a candidate, or an individual nominating themselves. Nominations will open to those individuals working in Liquid Gas UK member companies.

“We’re looking for energy and enthusiasm, professionalism and a demonstrated contribution to a teams success from our entrants this year, across the 3 categories. As our sector goes through its transition to net zero by 2040, it will be these young people who will be leading our industry in years to come and we will celebrate in Liverpool. The Young Person in LPG Awards 2023, sponsored by Valliant has three categories:

Rising Star of the Year

• Currently carrying out in a role in the LPG industry
• Aged 35 or under on awards day, the 2nd November 2023
• Committed to a career in the LPG Industry
• Not currently carrying out an apprenticeship
• Organisation needs to be a member of Liquid Gas UK

Apprentice of the Year

• Those applying for Apprentice of the Year must be carrying out an apprenticeship at the time of application
• Currently carrying out in a role in the LPG industry
• Aged 35 or under on awards day, the 2nd November 2023
• Committed to a career in the LPG Industry
• Organisation needs to be a member of Liquid Gas UK

Outstanding Achievement

• Those applying for the Outstanding Achievement Award must have been involved in a long or short-term one-off initiative, activity or action that has significantly benefited your organisation and/or the LPG industry
• Currently carrying out in a role in the LPG industry
• Aged 35 or under on awards day, the 2nd November 2023
• Committed to a career in the LPG Industry
• Organisation needs to be a member of Liquid Gas UK
