LPG Codes of Practice bundle from Liquid Gas UK helps councils oversee LPG safety and enforcement

Liquid Gas UK has introduced a Local Authority Bundle of LPG safety Codes of Practice designed specifically to support local government teams in their role as regulators and safety enforcers.

Developed with input from the Health & Safety Executive and industry technical experts, the bundle covers the safe use, transport, and storage of LPG across multiple public and private sector scenarios.

“Councils play a crucial role in ensuring public safety – from inspecting food vendors to approving residential developments that use LPG,” said Richard Hakeem, Director of Safety & Technical Policy at Liquid Gas UK. “Our local authority bundle brings together all the relevant codes to help officers carry out their duties with confidence and authority.”

The bundle is priced at £396 and is suitable for environmental health teams, building control, fire safety officers, and licensing departments. The Bundle includes the following 6 x Codes: 1 part 1; 1 part 2; 1 part 4; 3; 7; 20.
