It also covers a wide range of operational and safety considerations including hazards and precautions, security, manual handling, fire precautions, driver training, accident reporting, vehicle marking, ventilation in closed vehicles and the role of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSAs).

The publication is structured in two parts across eleven sections:

  • Section 2: Operational Requirements
  • Section 3: Hazards & Precautions
  • Section 4: Carriage of Cylinders in Closed Vehicles
