New energy efficiency rules highlight urgent need for EPC review

The Government announced this week (5th November) new rules which require landlords to spend up to £3,500 to improve rental properties with the lowest energy performance ratings. Whilst UKLPG, the trade association for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), encourages further investment into making homes more energy efficient, there have been longstanding concerns that the measurement methodology is flawed.

UKLPG calls on Government to remain committed to CGS objectives

UKLPG, the trade association for the LPG industry, is calling on the Government to remain committed to its Clean Growth Strategy objectives following its response to the Energy Company Obligation ECO3 consultation which was published yesterday (19th July). ECO3 is the government energy efficiency and heating scheme which focuses on delivering measures to low income, vulnerable and fuel poor households.
