As you may have seen, the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) released their latest report last week which called on BEIS to support hybrid heat pumps in the ‘Clean Heat Grant’ they are currently consulting on and reminded UK Government that they’re meant to be phasing out oil and LPG boilers this decade.

Last month, we launched a new EPC campaign targeting parliamentarians in Westminster and Holyrood, calling on them to get the EPC methodology fixed once and for all. I won’t preach to the converted on why EPC’s need fixing, but many will know this has been a long standing issue.

As the warmest May on record comes to an end, lockdown criteria is eased and a number of us begin to try and return to a certain level of normality, the light at the end of the tunnel is certainly shining a lot brighter than it was a couple of weeks ago.
