Easter is almost upon us and stately homes, farm parks and gardens across the country will be opening up with an array of fun activities to keep the children entertained over the holidays.
Easter Egg Hunts are always a popular feature along with bottle feeding baby lambs, blossom trails and other seasonal outdoor activities.
Many of the farms and period properties involved with these events will be off grid and reliant on alternative fuels such as oil or LPG for heating and cooking. A mid-morning coffee and cake is always an essential part of these days out particularly for the parents!
The venues wishing to reduce carbon footprint in a practical way will be starting to look at alternative options instead of the more carbon intensive traditional off-grid options such as oil or solid fuel. Heat pumps aren’t always suitable for older buildings so instead LPG and bioLPG can be used.
LPG has long been regarded as a low carbon method of heating off-grid buildings and providing fast, reliable heat for cooking. BioLPG takes things a step further by offering up to 90% reduction in carbon emissions as well as the same low levels of NOx, SOx and particulate matter.
More importantly bioLPG is totally renewable and made from a diverse mix of biological feedstocks and waste streams. It makes a very attractive option for LPG users as well as businesses currently using oil or solid fuel wishing to switch to a lower carbon alternative.
LPG and bioLPG are chemically the same meaning the difference between both products is indistinguishable, but they are created in a different way and using different methods. Crucially LPG and bioLPG are the perfect solutions for the rich and varied properties found in rural areas of the UK, many of which carry restrictions regarding alterations permitted to be carried out.
