Many of you will have seen and responded to our Industry Census in 2020. The survey was the first of its kind for the industry, which provided a clear picture of the LPG industry, at that point time, and also gave us a greater understanding of the sectors plans for the future, framed within the context of achieving the pathway to Net Zero.
Since the launch of the census, which gained media coverage across the UK and beyond, we have been busy using the data and evidence you supplied in our engagement work across the four nations.
Thanks to your support, we have been able to demonstrate the commitment of the industry to investing in the UK market, how it is innovating for the future and the opportunities that we see for the sector going forward.
The 2020 census showed the LPG Industry, was investing for the future and showing healthy signs of growth. The census proved the sector had not just the appetite for growth, but the ability to deliver, with the industry building up its workforce, improving its infrastructure, making huge investments and expanding into new, as well as existing, markets.
Thanks to this work, we’ve had some great successes, meeting with Ministers, senior civil servants and many other stakeholders across the four nations, to champion our industry and raise awareness of the good work you do.
And because of these successes, we now need to update this information, with a new census that seeks to learn more about where we are now as an industry in 2022, and where we would like to be in the future.
As we enter this critical period for the industry, it is vital that you make sure your voices are heard, and that we have the evidence base we need to support and champion you. The survey is open until 31st May and can be found here.
Please make sure you have your say.
