Young Person in LPG Awards 2025

Awards NOW OPEN! The YPILPG Awards aims to champion young people aged 35 and under throughout the industry, shining a spotlight on their success, and showcasing the opportunities for young people within the LPG sector.

Celebrating Five Years of the Young Person in LPG Awards – Nominations Now Open!

We are excited to announce that the Young Person in LPG Awards return for their fifth year, proudly sponsored by Vaillant! Since launching, the awards have shone a spotlight on outstanding young talent within the LPG and renewable liquid gas industry, recognising those making a real impact.

At the 2024 Liquid Gas UK Conference in Cardiff, we celebrated our latest winners:

  • Apprentice/Trainee of the Year: Hadley Hilton, Calor
  • Outstanding Achievement: Alisha Nadeem, Flogas
  • Rising Star: Madeleine Jones, AvantiGas

Looking ahead to 2025, the awards will evolve to focus on one prestigious accolade: Young Person in LPG of the Year Winner, along with a runner up.

Why the change?

This updated format follows valuable feedback from members and our Board, who expressed a desire to simplify the awards and increase their prestige. By celebrating one overall winner and a runner-up, we aim to place greater emphasis on excellence, raise the profile of the award, and provide even more meaningful recognition for those who go above and beyond in our sector.

The launch took place today at the Liquid Gas UK member meeting at the Installer Show on Wednesday, 25th June, at the NEC.

These awards provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase the next generation of talent and innovation in our industry. If you would like to nominate someone yourself, or someone in your team, please click here.
